Armand Grobler was born in South Africa and raised on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia. His passion for wildlife came from a young age as he watched his hero, Steve Irwin on TV and various Wildlife Documentaries. Armand soon started imitating his hero, catching snakes and lizards while also giving reptile shows and demonstrations from the tender age of only 12! At the age of 14, Armand started working in the local Pet Store at St Ives Village Green and built up an impressive Resumé which includes working at Taronga Zoo (YATZ programme), raising lions and leopards in Africa, being chased by wild animals (buffalo, elephant, rhino, lion and hippo!), traveling the Kalahari in search of the Black Maned Lions and of course living out his dream in the Greater Kruger Park doing what he loves most (photographing the BIG CATS!). Armand’s passion is contagious which his guests greatly enjoy and his dream of sharing his beautiful country with guests from all over the world has become his reality.

Armand is currently working on a Photo and Film Project in the Greater Kruger Park, South Africa. His project will consist of a collection of beautiful wildlife and landscape images portraying the unique majesty of Kruger Park in the form of a hard cover Fine-art Coffee Table Book. The project base is located in the Manyeleti and Sabi Sand Game Reserves where Armand hosts his Private and Photographic Safaris with Rhulani Safaris.

A Short-Film will present his project in another format for international viewers to enjoy from the luxury of your home! You can contribute to Armand's project through participation or sponsorship
